Ashtrae is our apprentice here at Save Point, and he’s already making a name for himself with bold, graphic tattoos that carry a heap of personality. His style leans into neo-traditional and illustrative influences, but what really sets his work apart is the raw creativity behind it—shaped by years spent painting walls and living deep in Australia’s graffiti scene.

Before tattooing, Ashtrae was all about aerosol. He grew up chasing trains, climbing fences, and leaving his mark wherever he could. That experience—equal parts chaos and craft—taught him discipline, confidence, and how to make art that stands out. Now he’s bringing that energy into tattooing, and it shows in every line he pulls.

As an apprentice, Ashtrae is focused on building solid foundations and pushing his style with each piece. Whether it’s flash, filler, or something custom, he’s keen to keep learning, keep tattooing, and keep earning it the right way.
